Schuman Trophy returns with a football fundraiser for children in need 

The Schuman Trophy returns for its 26^th edition and the 7^th edition of the Women’s tournament.  It will take place on 18-20 May 2024 at the Rosières football club facilities in Rixensart. Please come and join us for a long weekend filled with fun and excitement on the field just 20 minutes out of  Brussels to help us raise funds for children in need and children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Since 1997, The Schuman Trophy has raised over €860,000 to support more than 300 charity projects worldwide. This edition is again dedicated this worthy cause. Your generosity has already allowed the Schuman Trophy to make a significant contribution to various initiatives focused on improving the lives of many children and we would like to continue to support this noble cause.

With the funds collected, we have financed the construction of new classrooms and buildings in orphanages, helped disadvantaged children to join in activities  promoting the development of their sociability, psychomotricity, and self-esteem in early childhood, and had a hand in the provision of school equipment and materials, to improve educational opportunities for children in several countries.

Additionally, we have also stood by colleagues who are actively engaged in charitable projects. For example, Sue is dedicated to developing a centre in Malawi, Christian is helping to develop the mission in Lubefu (DRC), and Didier is supporting a dispensary in the town of Majunga in Madagascar. Please check out the entire list of beneficiaries on this website.

For the 2024 edition, we, as the organising team hope to be able to count once again on colleagues ‘- from all the participating institutions – generosity to support children in need.
